Our Story
Some dishes are more than food. They are memories.

Some dishes are never really about the food. They are about the moment you first tasted them — and the person who set that plate in front of you.
Panda's Dumplings began with a feeling long before it ever became a kitchen: the quiet warmth of home, the closeness of family, and the unmistakable steadiness of a mother's love.
Growing up, our owner had one favourite dish above all others — a simple plate of dumplings, folded by his mother's hands. He would wait for them, hear them steaming, and know that the day was about to get better. At the time it was just his favourite food. He had no idea it was also his inheritance.
Years later, older and further from that kitchen table, he began to understand that those dumplings had always carried something far bigger than dinner.
His mother's roots trace back to Skardu, to a family with a long royal heritage — a lineage of traditions carried carefully through generations. As he returned to her story and learned more about where she came from, he found himself reconnecting with a part of his own history that had never left. It had simply been living all along in her recipes, her flavours, and the way she cooked for the people she loved.
And through all of it, one dish kept leading him home.
Her dumplings.
So Panda's Dumplings was never built to be just another restaurant. It was built to protect a memory — and to keep it alive on a plate.
We fold with the same spirit, the same ingredients, and the same unhurried care that made those dumplings feel like a small celebration. Every bite is meant to land the way it did back then: familiar, generous, comforting — like sitting at home, waiting for your mother to carry your favourite plate to the table.
Panda's is how we honour a mother, celebrate her roots, and hand a piece of that story to everyone who walks through our doors.
From our family to yours.
We hope that when you taste our dumplings, you don't just taste the food.
We hope you taste the story folded into it.
